I Have Learned That I Can do Anything – But Not Everything.

Being a sole practitioner presents a vast number of benefits. For me, being able to operate with flexibility, gain higher returns on my investments, have complete control over my workload, serve my clients with sincerity, and being able to experiment with new ideas to improve my practice (without any barriers) are amongst the best benefits of running a solo practice.

However, for me, being ¨solo¨ in the last year meant doing everything myself.

In the last year, I have drafted every single document that left this office, received every email, answered every call, and booked every appointment myself. I have opened, managed, and closed all my files (scanned, saved, and sent)! In addition to being a Mother (x2), a partner, and a teacher, I have become an entrepreneur, a bookkeeper, a manager, and a process server. I have learned so much!

¨I have learned that I can do anything - but not everything¨.

I have so much gratitude for the help I received throughout the years from receptionists, legal assistants, clerks, paralegals, students, associates, etc. and I wish I could hire them all ;) ! But the reality is, I cannot.

I have invested in systems that allow me to practice as efficiently as possible as a solo practitioner – and for that I am grateful – but I still need and want support! This is when I discovered the services of Virtual Clerks!

Meet Tracy - Our go-to virtual law clerk!

Whether I need virtual assistance regularly or only from time to time, Tracy offers me a solution that is right for my small business!

By utilizing Tracy’s services as a virtual clerk, I can focus my time on what is important to me – my clients! Tracy supports lawyers with drafting both simple and complex estate planning documents, preparing Court Applications for Certificates, as well as aiding with the administration and accounting of estates.

Tracy loves to read, do yoga and crossword puzzles - but not all at the same time ;)! She loves camping, hiking and she is up for trying basically any outdoor activity with family and friends (walking, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, golfing, skiing, skating, snowmobiling!). She is a super Mom (x3) and a superhuman (volunteer soccer coach for 20+ years)! She daydreams about a lakefront property and playing the guitar!

Tracy, we are so happy to have connected with you and to welcome your services to our little Wills & Estate Boutique!
